Memphis Apartment: Fielder's Square

One of the more centrally located apartments in Downtown Memphis is Fielder's Square. Previously known as Echeleon at the Ballpark, these Memphis apartments overlook the Memphis Redbirds stadium, Autozone Park. If you're a big baseball fan, some even have balconies that face toward the pool!

The one complaint that I've heard in recent times regarding these Memphis apartments is their increasing price. A few years ago, many of the downtown apartments were turned into condos. Because the availability of condos is now more limited, many Memphis apartments have raised their prices with demand. These Memphis apartments start at $635 and go up to $2485, so there's really something for everyone.

Memphis Apartments: Island Park Apartments, Downtown Memphis

One of the best deals on Memphis apartments you'll find on Mud Island is Island Park Apartments. This is one of the lesser talked about communities, which may make it all the more reason to stop by. Memphis apartments all seem to have waiting lists these days, but Island Park typically has something available.

Island Park is a comfortable apartment community that sits in the heart of Mud Island (Harbor Town) in Downtown Memphis. It has more that enough amenities, including the following.

• Balconies

Did I mention that all of these services are free? They are with the exception of laundry. You'll need to bring along a few quarters for that.

Island Park is kid and pet friendly too. They allow cats and small dogs.

Island Park apartments is a great place to live if you're an outdoor person. They're located just across the street from a big park that sits right on the Mississippi River. These Memphis apartments are great if you have a bike or a kayak.

As you can see, each apartment has a private balcony and each apartment is 3 stories tall.

These apartments have 1 and 2 bedroom floor plans ranging from 819 square feet to 1253 square feet.

They have both one and two bedroom layouts.

The price on these Memphis apartments range from $830 to $1090.

When you visit Island Park apartments, you should keep in mind that many of the apartments do face the Mississippi River. Be sure to check these out!

Memphis Apartments: The Estates at River Point, Downtown Memphis

Lets get this started!

One of my very favorite apartment communities is The Estates at River Point. If you're new to Memphis and looking for a Memphis Apartment, this place should be on your checklist.
















I've included a photo to give you a better idea. As you can see, The Estates at River Point is all new construction.

It's located on Harbor Town (a.k.a. "Mud Island" after a nearby park) in Downtown Memphis. It's located at the end of the island, just as you're beginning to make the turn to go around to the back of the island. If you've driven on Harbor Town before, you definitely know this area. It's peaceful.

These Memphis apartments feature a pool, a clubhouse, an exercise area, and a pool (table) room for starters. You'll be happy to know that all of these features are offered free of charge.

In addition, these Memphis apartments also offer free parking, tennis courts, package receiving, on site laundry, a business center, wheelchair access, on-site management, housekeeping, storage space, garage space, high speed Internet, volleyball, and sundecks! Wow, that was a mouthful. As you can see, they have it all!

If you have pets, the Estates at River Point does allow in cats and small dogs. A single dog must be under 35 pounds or you can have two dogs that weigh a total of 35 pounds.

Prices in these units varies from around $800 / month to $1300 / month, depending on size. A garage space begins at between $80 and $100 per month, although outdoor parking is free.

The apartments are less than a 5 minute drive to the nearest bus and are close to both I-40 and I-55. Dry cleaning is also less than 5 minutes away.

The one drawback however to these Memphis apartments is that they often have a waiting list. The good news is that they have 400 units, so you shouldn't have to wait long if you wait at all.

This is a great community if you're looking for something that's all inclusive and that's peaceful and quiet.
